C-SAM Celebrates Investors in People Award
Aberdeen based C-SAM Ltd has been recognised for its commitment to people development, achieving the Investors in People (IIP) Standard. This national quality award sets a level of good practice for improving an organisation's performance through its people and is based on four key principles for people development: commitment, planning, action and development.
C-SAM was awarded the standard following a visit by an independent external assessor in late December 2004 and represents an important milestone in the company's journey for continuous improvement.
"We are delighted to be recognised as an investors in people company, says Theresa Wheeler, C-SAM's Managing Director. "The IIP programme has been instrumental in bringing our business forward. It has helped us to improve existing training programmes to maximise the potential of our hardworking staff and support their development needs. As a result, we are in a better position to foster home grown talent and more importantly retain it".
