Aberdeen based C-SAM has just completed state-of-the art software for Ellon based construction company, Scotia BBS. The technology solutions company C-SAM has developed a tailored system which tracks building developments from plot stage to final completion and customer care. The multi-user construction development system is said to be worth a five figure sum.

The system includes facilities for each client to make unique alterations, major or minor, to include sun lounge, kitchen appliances, tiling, painting, plumbing, electrical or landscaping. Site management reports can also be produced by plot/site for all or individual trades. The application provides full business intelligence reporting.

C-SAM based the solution on its software package, Pyramid, which has been specifically adapted to fit with Scotia BBS's needs. The system is said to incorporate a number of, what are classed as, unique features including a customer relationship management tool, which will enable Scotia BBS to track all correspondence associated with each plot on new developments. It also includes a diary function, which allows the day-to-day running of each development to be controlled, and viewed, by all users of the system. This will allow Scotia BBS to make considerable cost savings in administration and increase their customer and quality focus.

C-SAM's multi-user construction development system can be used by any size or type of building industry for tracking and maintaining the progression of developments. It takes the client from the initial purchase stage through to the after sales and maintenance.

Theresa Wheeler, Managing Director of C-SAM, says, "Working together with Scotia BBS to develop a tailored software solution has given us further scope to market our Pyramid product to new industry sectors. The continued success of Scotia BBS has allowed us to develop the Pyramid package and further understand its capabilities within this particular marketplace."
