We’ve just wrapped up another incredible few days exhibiting at Oceanology International, and what an event it has been. From start to finish, the energy, innovation, and sense of community across the industry made it a truly worthwhile experience for the entire C-SAM team.

C-SAM is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Maddison as its new Development Manager, further strengthening the organisation’s technology leadership and commitment to innovation.

The C-SAM team attended Subsea Expo in Aberdeen this week, taking part in one of the key events in the subsea and offshore energy calendar and engaging with a wide range of industry professionals from across the sector.

As we step into 2026, it’s a time of optimism, innovation, and transformation. The new year always brings fresh opportunities to rethink outdated processes and embrace smarter ways of working. For many organisations, one area ripe for change is asset management, particularly the reliance on spreadsheets.

Christmas is often associated with magic, but behind every successful festive season is a well-run operation. Even Santa’s legendary Christmas Eve delivery depends on carefully managed assets from workshop equipment and logistics infrastructure to transport and maintenance.

As the festive season rolled in, the C-SAM Aberdeen team gathered for a Christmas day out full of competition, laughter, long-standing traditions, and plenty of unforgettable moments. From bowling lanes to bumper cars, football excitement to fancy dress mayhem, it was the perfect mix to close out another fantastic year together.

Efficient goods received management sits at the heart of every successful operations, procurement, and project delivery function. Yet for many organisations, this process still involves manual paperwork, disconnected systems, and limited visibility creating unnecessary delays, filing backlogs, and restricted insight into what has been delivered, what’s outstanding, and what needs urgent action.
